What is OS-01?
A senotherapeutic peptide developed by OneSkin that targets senescent (aged) cells in skin tissue. It is the active ingredient in their topical skin longevity products.
OS-01 is a proprietary peptide that reduces the burden of senescent cells in skin, which accumulate with age and secrete inflammatory factors that damage surrounding tissue. In lab studies, it reduced senescent cell markers and improved skin barrier function.

How it works
As skin ages, cells enter a state of senescence where they stop dividing but remain metabolically active, secreting a cocktail of inflammatory molecules called the SASP (senescence-associated secretory phenotype). This damages neighboring cells and accelerates aging.
OS-01 selectively targets these senescent cells, reducing their accumulation and the inflammatory burden they create. OneSkin's published data shows it can reduce senescent cell markers by up to 50% in skin models and improve epigenetic age markers.
